About Me

James Robin, Founder

Welcome to Robin Henry Watches, and thank you for stopping by. My name’s James Robin, and I’m a lifelong watch enthusiast turned professional watch specialist. Like many collectors, my journey began with trading watches to fund the next exciting piece and it quickly became a passion that shaped my life.

My focus is on rare and vintage watches, with a particular love for neo-vintage Rolex and Cartier models. The story truly started in December 2012, when I inherited my late grandfather’s watch. My curiosity about its history led me down the rabbit hole of horology. Shortly after, I purchased an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, and from there, my fascination with watches only grew.

In 2021, after losing a close friend, I decided it was time to focus on something I truly cared about. Starting Robin Henry Watches brought together years of experience and a lifelong love of watches. The name reflects my family roots, and the goal has always been simple: to offer great watches and share my passion with others.

With Robin Henry Watches, I founded Guernsey’s first and only dedicated specialist for vintage and neo-vintage luxury watches. My aim is to build a watch community in the Channel Islands and beyond, sharing my passion for vintage timepieces and the rich stories they tell.

Every watch I sell comes from my carefully curated inventory, and with low overheads, I’m able to offer globally competitive prices. I back this with personal service you won’t find locally and worldwide delivery is always available.

To ensure your confidence, I offer a three-day, no-hassle return policy. If you’re not completely satisfied, simply send the watch back for a full refund. All watches without a manufacturer warranty also include my six-month warranty, and each piece is checked against The Watch Register to guarantee authenticity and ensure it hasn’t been reported lost or stolen.

For those looking to explore the world of watches further, you can find me on YouTube, where I share commentary and opinions on the latest watch news. Just click the YouTube icon above or search “Robin Henry Watches” to join the conversation.

Whether you’re looking for your next watch or simply want advice, I’m always happy to chat. Watches are more than just timekeepers, they’re stories, history, and craftsmanship rolled into one. Let’s share the journey.
